The loft bedroom at the back was comfortable and clean. It’s a relatively quiet neighborhood, but still interesting, and you get a chance to see how Vietnamese people live in a big city. There aren’t many frills, and the lobby can feel a bit antisocial. The young woman who checked me in was pleasant.

The location worked well for me. It’s away from the hustle and bustle, but still close enough to walk to the backpacker street, and I enjoyed being there. The staff were decent and very friendly. The rooms, though, get no sun and can feel dingy. Most have both a double bed and bunk beds, which feels odd. I wanted some quiet time alone after days in hostels, but the music from the coffee shop was loud in my entrance-side room. The ground-floor rooms are a bad choice. The main door locks early, so take a key if you’ll be back late. One guest rang the bell at 2 am and staff didn’t come for half an hour. Since my room was 102 on the ground floor, I ended up going out to buzz them in myself. They also didn’t provide me with a towel. It’s cheap, but make sure they give you everything you need, and ask for a room on the first floor or above.

It’s quite new, so there may not be many reviews on Agoda or other travel accommodation sites yet, but I think this place deserves five stars. The rooms are clean, nicely furnished, and attractive, and the location is away from traffic so there’s no noise to disturb you at night. Staff are friendly and really helpful, and the prices are very affordable.

Great location, within walking distance of the party area. There’s a small daytime market with fresh seafood and meat, fruit on every corner, and a little cafeteria downstairs. The rooms are clean, the bathroom is good, and there’s good Wi-Fi. They have everything you need for cooking, plus an iron and a blow-dryer. The owners and their kids are very friendly and helpful. Good price too. I’ll recommend it to friends and come back.
