Saigon Charm Hotel

I’m writing this to warn people because we got scammed. We prepaid 2600 INR on Trip.com, choosing this place because the photos looked good, even though there were cheaper, better options. When we arrived, the rooms looked like spa rooms and were extremely different from the pictures. Ants were everywhere, ruining our food and getting into our shoes and clothes. It was a nightmare. Thankfully, our flight was in the morning, so we weren’t in the room much. It wasn’t worth a penny. When we complained to the staff or owner, she didn’t seem to care, as if this was normal. She sprayed something at the ants, then said she wasn’t sure if they’d come back. The staff didn’t try to solve our problems, refused a refund, and didn’t even give us a bottle of water. Please don’t book here, you’ll waste your money.

I only went in for a foot scrub and massage because the advertised price looked good, so I can’t comment on the rooms. I knew I’d made a mistake as soon as I sat down. She scrubbed my feet dry and rubbed salt onto them dry, even though it should have gone in the water bowl. Then she put her phone on my leg to FaceTime her friend and talked loudly with her coworker the whole time. It was vile. After all that, she had the cheek to tell me I had to tip. I politely refused and walked out. Outrageous service, she should be fired.

The location is good, but the rooms look nothing like the pictures. The staff weren’t supportive, and we even had to pay for water. I wouldn’t recommend staying here.

We lost our money because the hotel refused to refund us, and we couldn’t stay in that horrible lobby any longer. This was the worst accommodation experience I’ve had in this beautiful country. The booking app photos showed different rooms from the actual ones, which were in terrible condition. The AC didn’t work, and cockroaches were in the bathroom and beds. When we tried to talk to reception or the so-called owner, they were impolite and unresponsive. They made us wait in the lobby for two hours, saying the room was being cleaned and the AC repaired, and then asked us to wait even longer, despite it already being 1.5 hours past check-in. We also saw other guests collecting toilet paper and towels at reception to take to their rooms. This hotel should be closed permanently.
