Saigon Sky Garden Serviced Apartments

I booked a studio through booking.com, but all the studios were sold out, so they upgraded me to a two-bedroom suite for free. I only had to pay the full reservation cost at check-in, with no bond or deposit. The apartment had a washing machine but no dryer, and I had to buy detergent at the Family Mart downstairs. There are lots of restaurants and shops nearby, and the location, amenities and service were great. I enjoyed the stay and the genuine Vietnamese hospitality.

The rooms are spacious, comfortable, clean and cool, and the staff are professional. There's a convenience store next door and plenty of Japanese restaurants just a short walk away. I strongly recommend this place.

We stayed in a three-bedroom apartment. The single bedroom I slept in felt a bit small, and the air conditioner was right in front of my head, so it made my head feel cold when it was on. Apart from that, everything was good. The location was convenient and close to everything.

We were close to Japan Town, and it was an easy walk to the major sites and lots of good restaurants and bars. The Family Mart in the building has very good Tomago Sandos and plenty of other Japanese products. Our two-bedroom apartment on the 11th floor was spacious, well equipped and spotlessly clean. The beds were reasonably firm, the pillows were good, and we liked the Japanese-style bathroom and bidet toilet. Water pressure was good too. The listing calls the apartment soundproof, but that was only partly true for us, and probably for most units. The doors and windows opening onto the huge balcony are double glazed, but the small bathroom and toilet windows and the two doors facing the pool area and Ly Tu Trong St let in outside noise. Small round plastic air vents leading from the rooms to the balcony also brought in street noise, so I blocked them with a shopping bag. The curtains only blocked about half the light.
