The room was spacious, the bed was comfortable, and the whole hotel felt spotless, from the lobby to the room. Breakfast was a strong point too, with fried rice, noodles, and a live egg station. We could walk to the Saigon Central Post Office and Nguyễn Huệ Walking Street, though there are a few night massage parlors nearby that may not suit every family. We stayed in room 1812 from 24-26 March 2026. There were some issues. On both mornings one of the two lifts was out, so waits were long, and from the 9th floor we could hear conversations at ground level. The bathroom’s two roller blinds leave a gap in the see-through glass, which affects privacy. The hotel also sent a lot of WhatsApp messages before check-in and reminders; it would be better to ask guests how they prefer to be contacted. Check-in was a poor start. The male night-shift staff member didn’t greet us or smile, and gave confusing information about breakfast charges for our child. It was already included in our booking, but he said we had to pay extra. Two female receptionists sorted it out the next morning and were very polite and helpful. Despite these drawbacks, the cleanliness, room size, and breakfast make it good value. Better consistency in service and a few design fixes could make this a five-star stay. I’d still recommend it for a comfortable visit to Ho Chi Minh City.

We got around easily from this great location, close to cafes and restaurants and walkable to almost everything. It was easy to pin on Grab as well. Our room was very clean and spacious, and the bathroom was quite large compared with other hotels in HCMC. The staff were professional and welcoming. Mercy made check-out smooth for us.

The room was well cared for, and all the amenities looked brand new. Staff replied quickly on WhatsApp and shared lots of tips on places to see in Hanoi. The hotel is well placed, fairly close to the Old Quarter, and was a great place to stay. I’d recommend it to friends visiting Vietnam.
