Siris Niko Residence - Self checkin

Check-in was easy and self-service, and my room was clean and bright. There’s a wonderful rooftop where you can hang out or do laundry, with a washing machine and somewhere to dry your clothes. I really enjoyed staying here.

The room was filthy and smelled like dust so strongly that it hit me every time I walked in. I found a cockroach in the shower and another in the kitchenette sink, and there were small flies all over. The curtains looked chewed up, and there was mold on the walls. The bidet leaked, but when I sent the host videos, all he asked was that I not put towels on the floor, even though the floor was wet. Then he tried to charge me for the dirty towels I’d put down and threatened to kick me out when I refused. Worst stay I’ve ever had. Stay there at your own risk.

Ants showed up almost as soon as I arrived, even though I made sure not to eat in the room. At one point they were crawling on my bed, and I left for another hotel that same day. The TV didn’t work at all and seemed to be there just for decoration. I was disappointed by how unclean the room was compared with the listing: there was visible mold on the ceiling, and water sometimes dripped from that same corner. A very poor experience, and I wouldn’t recommend this place.

There was no staff to help me check in, and the room was in such bad condition that I couldn’t stay. I was very disappointed. I contacted local authorities and the police to report what I considered false advertising and try to get my money back.
