Luna Hotel

I stayed March 17-22, and it was pretty good value. The staff were kind and considerate, especially Tram, Hao, and the other receptionists. The residential area has plenty of inexpensive food, laundry services and a market. Ben Thanh Market and Beer Street are a few minutes' walk away, though you'll need a bike or car for sights like Independence Palace, War Museum and Opera House. My Standard Double Room was on 1F and quite spacious, with room for luggage, but it had no cabinets or drawers. The shower area was large, though a divider between it and the toilet would help, since the bathroom floor gets wet during a long shower. The in-room WiFi wasn't reliable, so bring your own mobile data if you plan to work.

What stood out was the warm hospitality. The staff were friendly, professional and ready to help from the moment I arrived. Requests were handled efficiently and thoughtfully, with care for the details. My room was comfortable, clean and well maintained, too. I had a wonderful stay and would recommend the hotel to anyone visiting the area.

For the price and location, this is good value and I'd stay again. I was there one night. The beds were pretty comfortable, and the staff friendly, though the WiFi was slow. There was a bathtub in the room as well as a shower room. It looks quirky and cool, but I can't picture myself using it.

The people here are great, and the hotel is central. The rooms are clean, but only so-so, and the photos make them look better. I don't think it deserves a 4.8 rating. Maybe 3.5. To me, it feels like a two-star hotel.
