Spring House Hotel

My friends and I booked three nights, from 30/April to 03/May, but left after one night and lost the other two. The room was very dirty and smelled bad. The aircon was loud, and outside noise came through too. We wanted to leave in the middle of the night because the keycard stopped working. It was old and hadn't worked smoothly since check-in, but the hotel staff said we had damaged it and asked us to pay for a replacement. We explained downstairs to the customer service woman with short hair that the card they gave us couldn't open the room. She still blamed us and asked for more money. When we said we'd check out and forfeit the two nights we'd booked, she continued to tell us to pay. I don't recommend staying here if you want to avoid a bad experience like ours. There are lots of better hotels in VN with safety, security and hygiene.

We had to put down a $350 deposit and hand over our actual passports just to sleep in the room we'd booked. Then the next morning, the room price had apparently doubled overnight, supposedly because of inflation, magic, or greed. Since they were holding our cash and international identities, we felt we had to pay their ransom to get out. A 10/10 choice if financial blackmail sounds fun. Otherwise, run for your life. 🏃‍♂️💨

I booked three nights at Spring House Hotel, from 30 April to 2 May 2026, but stayed only one because of several problems. The room was unclean, smelled unpleasant and had constant noise, so it was uncomfortable. The old, worn key suddenly stopped working. Rather than fix it, staff accused me of damaging it and made me pay 200,000 VND. The short-haired receptionist was rude and unhelpful, wouldn't take responsibility or offer a proper solution, and still insisted on the 200,000 VND payment. The conditions and service were very poor, and the treatment felt unfair. For safety, we decided to move to another hotel, losing the two prepaid nights. I don't recommend staying here.

The room looked new and was clean, and the staff gave good service. Even with busy streets below, the soundproofing worked well. The location is a 10/10, you can walk anywhere from here, with plenty of places to eat and shop.
