The location is superb, with convenience stores nearby, and the staff were helpful and quick to respond. The dorm booking page doesn’t show photos of the room, but the beds are surprisingly comfortable, not those cheap, hard hostel beds. There are six beds in a windowless room, with curtains for privacy, reading lights, and AC running day and night. You can use a shared kitchen with a microwave, plates, and kettle. Drinking water is available from a dispenser, and the common area has a couch, fan, and dining table. The main drawback is the bathroom setup: there are two shared by private room and dorm guests, so you may have to wait, especially mornings and evenings. WiFi is okay, though not the best.

This homestay is a handy base for nearby city sights and trips to places like Cu Chi Tunnels or Black Virgin Mountain. Thai Bihn bus station is around the corner, with buses to both destinations. The rooms are nicely decorated, and the place is close to city sighseeings. One downside from my experience: smoking is allowed here, which wasn’t pleasant as a non-smoker.

We had a bad experience booking through Airbnb today, 25/6. The host asked us to check availability before confirming the reservation, and she wasn’t professional in the box chat. We never stayed in the room, but we were very upset by how she treated us as customers, so please give this one star.
