The room was clean and the staff were nice. It's close to the airport and the conference centre.

For a small price, this is near the top of my list after trying plenty of hotels around HCMC over many years. The hotel is in a relatively quiet spot, which is rare in Saigon, and you can get to everything on foot. Laundry, supermarkets and a big garden are all nearby, so a motorbike isn't needed. The rooms, beds and bathrooms are clean and not too old. A special mention for the room cleaner: he's friendly and professional, and when he cleans, he really gets everything, even the bathroom walls. One small downside, the neighbor's dog doesn't like foreigners.

I ended up asking for a refund because the hotel looked different from the photos. It was old, not very clean, and smelled of cigarettes. The windows were locked, so I couldn't get fresh air. They kept 75,000 VND out of the 275,000 total for the cancellation.

The listed price felt dishonest, and I wasn't happy with the rooms, the price, or the TV, which had nothing but Chanel.

The rooms are just average, but the service is nice.
