The sleep was rubbish, even though I was there for just one night. Lights went out around 11 pm, which was fine, but at about 2 am staff came in for a late check-in and switched on the overhead lights while the new arrival unpacked and settled in from 2 to 2:30. They showed no consideration for the women already in bed. Please teach the young male staff to be more considerate with late-night check-ins. There’s one bathroom for ten women, and the shower drain doesn’t work, so you end up standing in dirty water. Check-in was confusing too: they tried to put me in the mixed dorm even though I’d booked the women’s dorm. They had no change for payment, so I had to go out and get some. There’s no elevator, and the narrow, winding stairs make carrying a suitcase a headache. There’s no gym, and many advertised facilities don’t exist. I wouldn’t stay here again or recommend it.

Only women’s-only dorm I could find, in a nice area for walking. Nearby restaurants have local prices, not tourist prices. The receptionist was very helpful :) The bathroom could’ve been cleaner, but what can you expect from an eight-bed women’s dorm.

The room was spacious, had a balcony, and was good value. The neighborhood is lovely and quiet, with plenty of local spots, about a 20-minute drive from the city center. We would’ve stayed all three nights, but the air conditioning didn’t work. In Ho Chi Minh City, where summer nights are around 26°C, sleeping without it was nearly impossible. We left after the first night of our three-night booking because staff kept asking us to wait but nobody came to fix it. I understand AC units can break and that may not be the staff’s fault, but after we got a refund, new guests were checked into the same room almost immediately, even though the problem was still unresolved. If AC is advertised, it should be maintained and working. Otherwise, it’s unfair to guests.

The staff are friendly and helpful! But there were lots of different-colored hairs on my new bed. I love this place, but I have to be honest about what I found.
