Host Vy speaks superb English and gave us a map full of useful local tips for food, transport, and things to do. It’s a great family run place, friendly and felt safe. The room was basic, clean, and comfy, and the location is close to eateries. Even though Walking Street is nearby, it was quiet at night. Great for the price, highly recommend.

Ms Vy was a wonderful host, took time to send us maps of local places to visit, and was very accommodating. The rooms are small but cosy, and having a little bathroom of your own is nice. The alley location might put you off, but the main street is just around the corner. That puts you close to Walking Street without too much noise at night. There's a 7/11, McDonald's, and a coffee shop just outside, handy for a late snack or anything you need. I'd recommend it for backpackers looking for a place to sleep with Aircon, a TV, fridge, and bathroom.

Vy is a fantastic hostess, meticulous, helpful, and a great business person. I always enjoy staying at Vy’s Guesthouse. It’s easy to get to from the airport, right in the center, and close to everything I need, including restaurants, coffee, 7-11, and an ATM. The rooms are comfortable, clean, and secure.

The location is perfect, and the hotel is nice and clean. The owner welcomed us warmly, gave us a map, and pointed out places to shop, eat, and see. We stayed one night, and it was well worth it.
