Yoyo Airport Saigon Hotel

The air conditioning was weak and didn’t cool the room enough. Next door was an empty lot full of trash that smelled foul, something guests can’t know about until they arrive. The hotel also lacked proper amenities. There are other nearby hotels at similar prices with much better quality and service, especially staff who know how to speak professionally, unlike the receptionist at YoYo Hotel. I stayed from 19 to 24 October, 25, and was extremely dissatisfied with front desk staff member Hung. He was arrogant and condescending when explaining hotel policy. I showed him my passport and ID, as the booking app said either one was required, but he insisted I also show a picture of my visa or he wouldn’t let me check in. His manner was rude and bossy. A family member had to leave an important meeting to go back and take a photo of my visa, since I was too far away. After a long flight, I then waited a long time to check in. Later I saw the policy posted in the room, and it clearly DID NOT mention any visa requirement, contrary to what he demanded. How dare he do that to me? I urge management to address his unprofessional, disrespectful behavior and not change policies without informing guests before they book. Please think carefully before choosing this place, with its polluted surroundings and poor service attitude.

We booked in advance, but on check-in day they said there was a power outage and asked us to move to their sister hotel. Since it was also near the airport, I thought it would be fine. But the room at Yoyo Airport Hotel was much lower quality than Yoko Hotel. The bathroom smelled moldy, the elevator didn’t reach our room so we had to carry our luggage up the stairs, and most importantly, the door lock didn’t work. It didn’t feel safe. I asked to cancel, and they tried moving us again, this time to Red Sun Hotel, which had an even lower rating. They said we could cancel on Agoda if we wanted, but they wouldn’t refund us. It felt scammy, but we didn’t think there was anything we could do, so we put up with it for the night. I’d never book here again.

They were extremely helpful. After my night flight, they let me use a room and arranged taxis for me. Very clean, good prices, and I’d recommend them 100 percent. YouTube-PadEnRoute

What I’ll remember most is how welcoming the place felt, right down to the fresh smell in the hotel. The staff were so polite, friendly, and always ready to help. It’s close to Tan Son Nhat Airport, which made getting around convenient, and the price was very budget-friendly without giving up comfort. The service and atmosphere felt high quality for what I paid. I loved staying here in Ho Chi Minh City and already miss it. Highly recommended! 🌸💕
