Ha Long Hotel

I left my backpack there with their permission while I was taking a course in Thu Duc. When I returned, I picked it up and went to Mui Ne. I didn’t notice until I was far away that my sunglasses and perfume, which had been on top of the bag, were missing. Luckily, they were the only valuables I’d left there. I don’t recommend staying here. The receptionist was never very pleasant, and when I came to collect my bag she stood up and kept her back to me. Now I know why. I picked up my things on the 17th of August, after staying two nights on the 4th and 5th. The room was okay but old, and they leave condoms and a picture of a naked woman as decoration. It was bizarre, and I was deeply disappointed in Vietnamese people. It didn’t feel safe.

The staff were really funny and helpful, even though the rooms aren’t the nicest. There’s an open-air café next door with somewhat loud music, which is handy if you want somewhere to have coffee while staying at the hotel.

The room had a really big, comfortable bed, good air conditioning, and a fridge stocked with beer, water, and soft drinks. It was clean, the room was a nice size, and the atmosphere was quiet. Breakfast is available for an extra charge. It seems suitable for families, couples, or solo guests. My room’s TV was bad, though. For a fair price, it’s a nice hotel.

I came across this place by chance on the way back from a bbq at Vinhomes Grand Park and was pleasantly surprised. The bed was super comfortable, the room was very clean, and the staff were fast and helpful. There was also a working fan and cold AC. I’d definitely recommend it.
