green mountain homestay

Getting to the homestay takes about five minutes by motorbike from the main road, along narrower roads. The ride was straightforward, though slower in a car. Once there, the mountain setting, green fields, and limestone karsts make for a lovely view, with plenty of outdoor places to sit. Local families run the well designed property and were friendly and helpful. Our room was beautiful and clean. There's bike and motorbike rental, gas, and laundry, plus an affordable restaurant serving good home style Vietnamese food. We didn't try the Western dishes, but had juices, coffee, beer, and cocktails. This was easily our favorite place to stay in Vietnam, and we'd come back.

The stone baths in the rooms were lovely for relaxing, especially since it can feel chilly during the rainy season. I had a peaceful stay, surrounded by nature. The family arranged rides from the airport and to Hanoi, and shared useful day trip ideas in a book. I found the food delicious, and the breakfast was great.

We spent three nights in a deluxe room at Green Mountain Homestay and wished we'd booked longer. The peaceful property is lovely, the room was cozy and very clean, and the family were kind and helpful. It was so relaxing that we didn't even feel like exploring other parts of ninh binh. Grab was easy to use, and the mountain bikes and scooters available at the homestay were handy. Highly recommend for a Ninh Binh trip.

The food was EXCELLENT, and the staff were polite and accommodating. We rented a motorbike there, which made getting around much easier. The views were incredible and the room was lovely. We really wish we'd stayed longer, and have nothing bad to say about this Homestay. Highly recommend!
