Hang Mua Lucky House

Mrs. Huong is the heart of Lucky House. She looked after us so warmly, and we felt like we were staying with family. I won’t forget her rolls for a long time. The breakfast baguettes and everything else she made for us were great too. She can also help arrange trips or a bus for wherever you’re headed next. The rooms are plain but spacious, clean, and have what you need, all at a reasonable price. There are plenty of restaurants, cafes and mini markets nearby. For a boat trip at Trang An, it’s a pleasant walk of about 3km along the river, so you don’t need to sort out transport. We had a lovely few days. I’d recommend it to anyone who values a warm, helpful welcome over a luxury place with an impersonal receptionist. Thank you. 🌺

I’d happily stay at Hang Mua Lucky House again when I’m back in Ninh Binh. The welcome was great, the place was clean, and the Wi-Fi worked well on every floor. Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, using Google Translate to make communication easy. Breakfast and dinner are available, and you can ask for coffee anytime since there’s a restaurant downstairs. The location is convenient: about 13 minutes by ride from Ninh Binh Train Station, 3 minutes from Hang Mua Caves and Lying Dragon Mountain, and 10 minutes from the Trang An boat ride. For the price, both the room and service were excellent value, and the welcoming atmosphere made my stay even better.

The family running this place are very helpful, though their English is limited, as is common in Ninh Binh. Google Translate worked for communicating. I ate a lot and paid only 130 thousand, while meals elsewhere cost me much more. You can also get cash from the owner like using an ATM. I only had breakfast here, so I can’t say anything about the rooms. It’s a lovely family-run place that opens early in the morning.
