We slept really well here. It’s quiet at night despite being only a 10-minute walk from town, and the mattresses were comfortable. The host was friendly, easy to reach, and helped with our onward travel and any questions. We could rent bicycles and scooters at a very good price. Breakfast was tasty every day, with a menu to choose from. Our room was very clean and well kept, and we were completely satisfied with the stay. No complaints at all. Highly recommended!

A lovely base for exploring Ninh Binh, with clean rooms and big private bathrooms. It’s near Tam Coc but tucked away from the busy feel, and we could park our motorcycle inside. The owner is really sweet and makes breakfast, doing her best to provide a vegan version when you ask.

The mountain views and quiet atmosphere make Mai Mountain Homestay a cozy place to unwind. The hosts are welcoming and helpful, and make guests feel at home. It’s also a nice spot to get a taste of local life.

We had trouble sleeping on our first night because other guests were having a pool party in the middle of the night. The next day, breakfast was an hour late despite agreeing on a time. We also rented a scooter for the day, but its tank was nearly empty, and we had to push it the last few meters even though we hadn’t gone far. Booking a bus through Mai was another bad experience. We were having trouble arranging one ourselves, so we asked her to book it, but we paid the highest price even though the bus was in the cheapest category. The ride itself was absolutely horrible, and Mai charged a high commission. We can’t recommend Mai’s homestay, and especially wouldn’t book extra services through her.

The owners were so friendly and made us breakfast every day, and we could rent a scooter too. Our room was simple, cozy, and very clean. Although it’s only 10 minutes from the busy city center, the hotel itself was completely peaceful and quiet. We loved staying here. It was probably one of our best stays in Vietnam. Thank you, it was perfect.
