I rely on reviews too, so I wanted to leave a detailed one. The hot shower and comfortable bed mattered most to us, and the breakfast was good. It wasn’t a buffet, which I actually liked. It was cooked hot when we came down, and that’s better. The family and staff were so kind and helpful, and we appreciated their recommendations. The hotel is new and clean, with laundry at a very reasonable price. We also loved meeting the pets, the chicken, birds, and dog were all sweet. We liked being away from everything. The tourist area is full of kids and debauchery, which we could do without, so I find complaints that this place is far from everything a bit funny. You can order a Grab taxi and it comes right away. I’d think of the $12 a day for two round-trip outings as the cost of having quiet. The hotel itself costs so much less that it works out.

The rooms were clean, and the staff would wait up to open the door if we came back late. We also needed laundry for our group of seven, and they took care of it. Breakfast was great. Everyone was ready to help with whatever we needed, from renting a motorbike and suggesting places to visit to bringing extra towels or making home-cooked meals. Even when we just wanted a friendly chat, they’d sit with us and make us feel welcome. I’d never been to Ninh Binh before, but staying at Salina Hotel made the trip amazing. It felt like a real home away from home, and I felt well looked after somewhere completely unfamiliar to me. I had a better experience here than at other four-star hotels. The family who runs this hotel made our stay in Ninh Binh feel special. Everyone was genuinely pleasant and helpful, and breakfast came with a local dish and really good coffee. The modern rooms were roomy and clean, and the bathroom was spotless with enough towels. We had a great time here and would choose it again on a future visit.
