Tam Coc Ninh Binh Bungalow

The breakfast was the standout for us, easily the best we had in Vietnam. The property is a bit out of town, but we still give it a solid 10/10. It’s a large, family-run resort with lovely gardens, a big pool, and even chickens near the back. The room was lovely, with heated beds. It was quiet, the beds were comfy, and the bathrooms were spacious. A true rice field stay.

The setting felt magical, and this was one of the most beautiful, peaceful places I stayed in Vietnam. The staff were excellent, so friendly and helpful. Our room looked amazing, and I meant to leave a big tip for the cleaning ladies, but we left very early in a rush and I forgot. Wish I could give it more stars.

We stayed four nights, and the staff were so accommodating. Breakfast was included, and the hotel has a restaurant. The ducks were the funniest part for me, especially since they loved any leftover fruit. When we left a day early to see the monkeys, one of the staff made us bread for the trip that morning. She waited to prepare it, and that really touched and impressed me. The customer service was amazing. We recommend this place 1000% and will come back. Vietnamese people are super kind, and Google Translate can help with misunderstandings.

The area is a little remote, which was exactly what we liked, and there’s a famous park with caves and boat tours just a quick five-minute bike ride away. We rode with friends around the area and to Ninh Binh proper, about 30-45 minutes to the city area with all the shops and Trang an. The hotel was beautiful, with a lovely view from the room, a private balcony, and gorgeous bamboo interiors. Free bikes and breakfast were included. Each morning I had coffee, a made-to-order banh mi, and fruit. Everyone was so nice and made us feel looked after. We also got to feed ducks at the farm across the way. Such a great experience and value, I couldn’t have asked for better.
