The Vancouver Hotel Ninh Binh

The staff were exceptionally caring and went out of their way to help. When my flight was delayed, they spoke with the airline to help me make sense of what was happening. The location is handy for great food, motorbike rental, mau cave, Trang An boat tour, and other fun spots. Rooms are very clean and spacious, the rooms are quiet with great noise reduction, and the AC worked perfectly. The shower is modern with strong water pressure, the kettle for boiling water was very clean, and the room has universal outlets that work for all. Breakfasts were very good, and so was the coffee. 10/10, A+. Thank you!

The owner was thoughtful about breakfast and asked what we wanted. We had homemade pho and pork porridge, fresh fruit, and fresh homemade orange juice. They responded very quickly on WhatsApp and easily arranged a driver to take us from Hanoi and back. The owner clearly puts a lot of care into the place. The rooms were extremely clean and spacious for Vietnam, with a super comfortable bed and soft, lovely pillows. We also had free water, a safe for our belongings, and all the necessary items. The shower warmed up quickly and had good pressure. The hotel is in the heart of Ninh Bình, close to local spots, restaurants, and cute boutique shopping. It’s a 12-minute walk to Hoa Lư Old Town, a 10-minute Grab ride to Trang An Boat Tour UNESCO, and 20 minutes by Grab to the Tam Coc area. There are only stairs, no elevator, but the owner carried our bags up and down each way. I highly recommend it for a stay in Ninh Bình, and would tell my friends and family to come here.

Even our driver said this was a great pick. It’s centrally located, clean, and European in style, and the owner was friendly. My partner is extremely picky about lodging and was pleased.

The family who run the hotel were kind and helpful all the way through, from sorting a motorbike rental to making us a delicious breakfast and storing our luggage after checkout. It’s on a lovely, central stretch of road, with shops, cafes, and restaurants a short walk away, and the mountain attractions to the west are close. Our room had strong AC and a fluffy, comfy bed, so we had a great night’s sleep. I had an excellent stay while travelling in Ninh Binh and would recommend it to anyone looking for a convenient location and friendly service near the mountains.
