The staff were very friendly, and I think the place has more potential. It felt a bit forgotten, maybe because it was low season, or maybe that’s just how it is. The rooms could definitely use more cleaning overall. I stayed five days, but my room was made up only once. I’m unclear how the cleaning schedule works, whether rooms are cleaned or not, or just once during a whole stay. It’s okay value for what it is, right beside the busy main road.

Our bud dropped us off around 4am, earlier than planned. Someone at Thu Guest House sorted us out with a room for a fair price even though we had no reservation, so we could get a few hours of sleep. We rented motorbikes through him, and he arranged a bus to Hanoi that picked us up right there for a good price. He checked in afterward to see if the trip had gone well and really seemed to care about making our time a good experience. We’d recommend him to anyone staying in Ninh Binh. Thank you!

He was the best host we could’ve asked for. Even though we arrived at a ridiculous hour, around 4am, he let us check in so we could get some much needed sleep. During the stay he kept sharing tips and recommendations, and let us know what local activities were happening. I’ll definitely stay here again when I come back. Thank you!

It’s hard to beat the value here, and I’d say it’s the best in town. The guesthouse is clean and comfortable, with friendly, helpful service. It sits in a quiet lane one block off the main road, so it’s peaceful but still close to everything. There’s lots of street food nearby, shops you’re likely to need within easy walking distance, and the big market just a short walk up the road. Great food at good prices too. The location is probably the best in Ninh Bình. I’d highly recommend this guesthouse and would be happy to answer anyone’s questions.
