8/10
The staff were nice, and the room was great, with a huge bed, comfortable mattress, and pleasant bathroom. The reception area is huge, though the hotel is outside the city. The pool was really good, which helped make up for the slow wifi. Breakfast wasn’t great: plain bread with no butter or jam, and the pho wasn’t very good.

The owner was sweet and polite, and all the staff were courteous. The rooms were very neat and clean, and the pool was well maintained. One of the best hotels in Ninh Binh.

The air conditioner blows straight onto the bed, and there’s no power socket by the dressing or work table. I also had no water once, around 4 a.m. Renovation was underway, with workers starting early in the morning.
