6/10
After our other hotel plans fell through, we booked the Van Giang hotel for a night and were pleasantly surprised by how spacious the room was and how easy check-in was. Reception didn’t speak English, but they did their best with Google Translate. I enjoyed the night, though I probably wouldn’t stay longer. It’s a bit far from the town center and breakfast isn’t included.

The rooms were spacious and clean, and the hotel is close to central Ninh Binh and the tourist spots. The staff were friendly and enthusiastic, and the service was good.

A clean room and quick check-in made this a decent stop for the night while traveling south. The hotel is right in Ninh Binh City.
