We arrived to find the place abandoned and apparently no longer in business. The listed phone number is wrong, and they had charged us in advance for a 15-day reservation. Now we can’t get our money back.

I booked 15 days at this hotel on hoteis.com and had already paid for the whole stay. After arriving in Ninh Binh, I found out the hotel doesn’t exist anymore and couldn’t find anyone to refund me. THE HOTEL IS NO LONGER OPEN.

There’s parking and the property has two street frontages, with restaurants and cafes nearby. It’s also close to National Highway 1A. Inside, there’s a billiards table for entertainment and a barbecue area.

The owner was so cheerful and enthusiastic, and pointed us to lots of delicious places that only locals know. Honestly, that’s why I ended up writing such a long review. The house is clean and quiet, with room for many people, a spacious rooftop BBQ area, a pool table, and board games for a late night with friends. It’s quite close to Hoa Lu ancient town, though not near Tam Coc. There are cheap car rentals at the house, so that wasn’t a problem for us. Nice overall.
