ABS House

Long went out of his way to help with my research, even in the rain. Getting everywhere was tough and took time, and we were constantly wet XD, but he also searched for another temple that suited my interests and did his best to keep me moving forward. The family really makes you feel at home, and the authentic breakfast was fantastic. The location beside the river is easy to find. There are very cheap food, drinks, and Che on the same street, and it's an easy walk into town for meals and sightseeing. Both rooms have great views. The lower one has a nice spot outside for breakfast among the greenery; the upper one is a little quieter and better for working. Neither seemed noisy. The rooms are lovely, and the bathrooms are adequate and have outside windows. I really enjoyed my stay and would book again.

We arrived late in the afternoon without a booking, and they still welcomed us and found us a room. It was spacious and clean, with a big bathroom and separate shower. The mattress was perfect for a good night's sleep. Breakfasts were delicious, especially out on the balcony overlooking the Perfume River. Hong arranged a private boat to pick us up and take us to the Pagoda and the citadel. The homestay is beautifully set by the river, away from the noisy backpacker streets, but still within walking distance of the market, citadel, and plenty of restaurants. Highly recommend.

We had three people in the bottom front room. It was clean and nice, with just enough space for backpacks, though suitcases would be a squeeze. The shower was a bit mouldy. The place felt secure, and they were very flexible about check-in and check-out times. The location worked well, about a 5-10 minute walk to the city center for food and shopping, and a bit farther to the Imperial city. Helpful, lovely people, and a good stay for the price.

The family made the visit for me. They arranged a bike, let me try some local food, and helped me plan my trip. Such friendly people. My twin room on the ground floor was roomy and had good facilities. I stayed a couple of nights and really enjoyed it. The homestay is just outside the busy area, but central spots are only a short walk away. I'm grateful I stayed here and would definitely recommend it.
