The house has a great atmosphere, with big air-conditioned rooms and good, tasty food. Anh's hospitality is what makes the vibe so nice. Dinner with everyone at the homestay costs 50000d, and you can try proper "Happy Water" (distilled rice). There's a bicycle to use for free or you can rent a scooter. The town is quiet and gives you a taste of real Vietnamese habits.

We spent two nights here in september 2019, just a short walk from walking street. Our room was clean, and Anh was a wonderful host, happy to share what he knows about Hue. Dinner was really tasty, with different local dishes and plenty of happy water. Good vibes all around. I'd recommend it to anyone looking for the homestay experience.

The dorm was comfortable and had good AC, and I loved the group dinners. The first dinner is free, and the next one is well worth paying for. Anh and his crew are absolute gourmets. I kid u not, the food was dee-freakin-lish! Anh made me feel so welcome. When my Grab driver dropped me off and tried to charge me twice what we'd agreed, Anh jumped in and sorted it out. That first impression held up through my stay. He's also a big football fan. When Vietnam played rival Thailand, you could hear him cheering whenever his team did something great. Then he'd run over to his guests and pour everyone a shot of his homemade rice wine. Pretty potent stuff, and Vietnam did lots of great things, eventually winning 1-0 in a world cup qualifier. Thanks, Anh!

The room was spacious and clean, and the bathroom with its bathtub was fine, though there was no soap. The owner was friendly at first, but not very organized. He let us check in early, and after we'd unpacked, put things in the wardrobe, and gone out, he moved our belongings to a different, larger room without telling us. I didn't like someone handling my stuff without asking. He welcomed us warmly with breakfast and said we could have water any time, but didn't explain whether either cost extra. He did include the first breakfast in the final bill. I don't mind paying, but he should have told us. Breakfast was okay: a salty, oily omelette with bread, coffee, and fruit. At night, he invited everyone to dinner and played music until midnight, which wasn't fair to those of us trying to rest.

One of our best nights in Vietnam. Anh is such a nice, generous guy, and his homemade dinners are amazing, with plenty of happy water. You won't regret it.
