Bánh Inn

The location is central to the tourist area, there’s secure parking for bikes, and the reception staff were friendly. The room itself was really noisy because of the large open space in the middle of the building and other guests shouting with their windows open. We had to wait until 2 pm to check in, and it didn’t seem like much in the room had been turned over. I suspected they hadn’t changed the sheets, or hadn’t washed them hot enough to get the stains out. There were hairs in the bed, which made me think they hadn’t been changed. Just average.

We only spent one night here, but I’d have liked to stay longer. It’s a beautiful, colorful hotel with a nice rooftop that has potential. The location is perfect, close to everything but tucked down a small street, so it isn’t too noisy, which is rare in Vietnam. You can park motorbikes, and there’s someone at reception 24/7. The staff are friendly, and the room was beautiful and comfortable, though small. It’s fine for a short stay. The glass door lets light into the room at night, which could be an issue. Maybe a curtain would help. I recommend it.

The rooftop looked beautiful, but I was too busy to check it out. I stayed in a Balcony Room at BÁNH INN homestay for four days, from 20-Oct to 23-Oct. The price was reasonable, whether for a couple or a bigger group of friends, and the location was in a prime area near great dining options at affordable prices. The rooms were clean and spacious, housekeeping came daily, and the warm, cozy Vietnamese design made it feel like home after a stressful month at work. The staff were exceptionally friendly, cheerful, and always ready to help. They even lent me an umbrella for a photo shoot in the rain in Huế. BÁNH INN homestay also rents ÁO DÀI and motorbikes, and their recommendations were thoughtful.

The location and cleanliness were good, but there was no heating or hot water, and the bathroom roof leaked. I don’t recommend it.
