I’d happily come back, even in the rain. The room was really spacious, and I felt at ease there, with the privacy of a hotel but a homestay feel. The staff were friendly and always greeted me warmly. It’s close to the main tourist street without being right on it, and the price was low compared with other hotels.

I paid 900k VND per night for a double room, but it was small and had only a 1.2m bed. It did have air conditioning, hot water and a TV. The owner came across as a little grumpy and wasn't very welcoming to guests. I went during a busy holiday, when finding somewhere to stay was difficult, and it was raining, so I stayed anyway. I won't be back.

I won't return. The room was cramped, and the landlady was unpleasant. During the April 30th holiday in Hue, the weather was cold and rainy. When I asked downstairs for an extra blanket, she said it was too hot and I didn't need one, then handed me a bedsheet. I had to go down again to ask for a replacement before she finally gave me one.

The room itself was okay, but the laundry was awful. They didn't iron my clothes, and the color ran onto my white shirts. When I complained, they said, "We don't do laundry," which felt completely irresponsible.
