The location was great, just a short walk from the imperial city. We were welcomed at check-in with a freshly made mango smoothie, and Laura and her family were kind and helpful throughout. We slept through breakfast one day, but when we finally came out at 12:30, they still gave us a breakfast menu. We had a lovely time here!

Laura really made me feel at home, even before I booked. She was happy to help with anything I needed in Hue, and as I was leaving she suggested a better route to Hoi An for nicer views. I’ve traveled Vietnam for over 20 days and stayed at more than 10 hotels and homestays, and the hospitality here stood out. The hotel is tucked down an alley, away from traffic noise but still close to everything. My room had a soft, comfortable bed and a clean, well-designed bathroom that didn’t get soaked during showers. The sliding window door was useful for airing out my wet motorcycle gear. Breakfast and drinks are included, with plenty of options, and you can eat whenever you like. I was only in Hue for 1 night, but I’d stay here again if I return.

We planned to stay 2 nights and ended up staying 4 because we were so happy here. Laura was a thoughtful, lovely host. She kept checking if we wanted more food or a drink, and her brother even walked us to a taxi under a giant umbrella when it was raining. Breakfast and coffee were great, and we loved being able to eat anytime, even sleep in as long as we wanted. Our room had big windows and a comfortable bed, and the nights were quiet, so we slept well. It was cleaned daily, water bottles were topped up, and the internet worked well. I can’t think of anything to improve. 10/10 as a base for Hue adventures.

Laura and her family were so accommodating when my husband and I arrived early from an overnight bus. They got us into a room ahead of time and gave us breakfast too. The room was very clean and had a cute little balcony. We had an amazing stay and highly recommend it!

The room was extremely comfortable, and I loved staying here. It isn’t a luxury hotel, but it has everything you need and some extras. The family running it are lovely, especially Laura. Breakfast can be had from 7am whenever you like; I think I ate as late as around 1pm. When their water filter broke and I couldn’t refill my bottle, they ended up giving me a whole bag of bottled water for free.
