The peaceful, nature-filled setting feels like a hidden gem, and our room was spacious and clean, with a stunning river view. The staff were warm and welcoming, always ready to help with a smile. Breakfast had plenty of tasty local options. I had a wonderful stay at Hue Riverside Boutique Resort & Spa and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway in Hue.

We stayed six nights, and it was easily one of our best stays in the country. The place is quiet and beautiful, set in a 4ha pomelo garden by the river. There's a huge swimming pool in the middle of the garden, free bicycles for guests, and they can arrange motorbike rentals or taxis. Our room was comfortable and faced the river, and the food was good. The staff were the best in Vietnam for us, from reception to the kitchen and housekeepers. Everyone was genuinely friendly and so polite. Ask reception for tips on Hue and you'll get some hidden gems. Thanks, Quinn and Linh, you've been so precious! By motorbike, the old city is 15-17 minutes away. It's a little farther from the tourist hub, but that's what you're looking for with a quiet place, a big garden, and the town only three steps away. Definitely and totally recommended, 100%!

The setting along the Perfume River is peaceful and picturesque, but it was one of the few highlights of our stay with our group of nine families last weekend. We arrived around 2 PM on a hot, humid afternoon and expected to be welcomed. No staff were there to greet or help us. There was a tray of cool drinks inside reception, but we had to serve ourselves, without a welcome, explanation, or orientation. For a resort promoting a boutique experience, that was disappointing from the start. The place looked rustic, but not in a charming or curated way. It felt tired and poorly maintained, with basic, dated rooms. Service stayed minimal throughout, without much personal touch. The riverside location is lovely, but the overall experience didn't match the advertised standard for service or accommodation. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and makes meaningful improvements, because the potential is there.

We stayed one night, arriving late and leaving the next morning. The staff were nice and doing their best, but the resort seemed to be in decline. The rooms and gardens looked poorly maintained. The photos online may show the place as it was a few years ago, since they certainly didn't seem recent. We can't recommend this hotel.
