Hue Serene Shining Hotel & Spa

We only spent one night here, but it was honestly one of the best hotels we stayed at in Vietnam. They welcomed us warmly with fresh juice while they looked into a small problem with our booking, and got it sorted quickly. The staff were incredibly friendly and gave us useful ideas for things to do in Hue. They also arranged a taxi to the airport. The rooms and bathrooms were modern and very clean, and both the hotel breakfast and dinner at their sister hotel were delicious.

It was such a relaxing stay. For the first time on our trip in Vietnam, the kindness didn’t feel tied to someone trying to sell us a product or service. The staff were genuinely warm, spoke very good English, and were always ready to help. Some even had almost flawless British accents. They went out of their way to arrange a private car, a taxi, and everything else. Breakfast was wonderful, with lots of tasty food. The room was clean, and there was also a cheap minibar.

The beds were comfortable, and we had a quiet spot that was still central. Breakfast had a huge selection, all for a very reasonable price. The attentive staff genuinely wanted to make our stay easy and could arrange tours, car transport, train reservations, or whatever else we needed. Our best hotel experience so far in Vietnam. What’s not to like?

The rooms were spacious and clean, and the people were extremely friendly, even helping with our luggage. It’s close to the city center but still peaceful at night. There are bathtubs, and the water actually gets hot, unlike the lukewarm showers common in Vietnamese hotels at this price. Breakfast was included and pretty good. I’d recommend staying here in Hue.
