Kly Hotel

We’d booked two nights, but left within two hours and found somewhere more comfortable. For three people, we’d paid about $50 AUD total, so we cut our losses. The staff were nice enough, and although the hotel is down a small alleyway, the location is good. We’d been approved for a 9am early check-in, but when we arrived they told us check-in was at 2pm. They did keep our bags while we wandered around the city. When we finally got into the room, the shower was basically over the toilet, so the whole bathroom got soaked. The beds were rock hard, there was no WiFi, and the hotel instructions said to leave the room key at reception whenever we went out (picture attached). We’d just come off a 12-hour overnight train from Ninh Binh, which made the room and amenities especially hard to deal with. Maybe it’s fine for a budget stay, backpacking, or one night, but it wasn’t comfortable enough for us.
