Lumiere Villa Hue

The villa needs a thorough clean and more upkeep. They didn’t tell me the kitchen appliances were out of order or that the tea room had closed after flooding, even though that was the main reason I booked. The complimentary glass water bottle had black mold inside, which I noticed after drinking half of it. They brought replacement water the next day. The closet hangers were covered in white mold, and the bedroom fridge was full of water and smelled musty. There was no hair conditioner in the shower, and the house has no soundproofing. I could hear the neighbors coughing. The power went out a couple of times, and the touchscreen at the main gate often wouldn’t wake up so I could enter the code. They repaired the curtains after I asked, but ignored my request for a fan. I’d give the place two stars at most. It’s overpriced, and I’d spend my money elsewhere.

The villa rooms are airy and clean, and the staff are friendly, enthusiastic, and helpful. I’d come back if I return to Hue.

My family had a great three-day stay. The villa was very clean, with new, modern furnishings and high-quality bedding and tableware. The online support staff were quick to respond, attentive, and enthusiastic. We’ll definitely choose this place again when we return to Hue.

The staff were helpful and attentive, and the apartment was both clean and quiet. The price was reasonable too.
