Renovation work was going on during my stay.

There wasn't an elevator, which was inconvenient. The owners were friendly and helpful, though the light bulb in my room was broken and, for some reason, couldn't be fixed.

Right in the heart of Hue, the hotel is affordable and draws plenty of locals and backpackers. The owner is very friendly, but foreigners are charged more than the listed price, as expected. Make a reservation. Just don't come expecting much comfort.

My trip was spoiled by this awful hotel. The room stank, and the towels and blankets smelled like rats.

Getting around to places in Hue was really convenient. Tourists should visit, it's okay.
