The owner is genuinely nice and friendly, but I had some serious concerns. The windows open onto a skylight, which seems very dangerous for little kids if you get distracted even briefly. Sound carries easily from the next room and hallway because the rooms aren't well insulated. I also found the reception staff's attitude very unpleasant.

Pao Hotel is in a peaceful part of Hue, but still close enough to the main attractions that I could explore the city and then come back to a quiet place. Breakfast was one of my favorite parts: the buffet had plenty of fresh, tasty local and international choices, and it was included with my stay. The rooms are spacious, clean, and well equipped. I slept really well on the comfortable bed, and the thoughtful decor suited the modern, chic feel of the hotel. From the moment I arrived, the welcoming staff made me feel at home. They were easy to reach with questions and recommendations, and their attention and genuine hospitality made a real difference. I had an unforgettable stay and would definitely recommend Pao Hotel for a trip to Hue. The rooms, staff, and location all made it a great choice, and I can't wait to come back.

The owner is a kind, friendly lady, and this is a good budget option close to the walking street. My balcony room was quite nice, and everything else was okay. There wasn't a fridge in the room, though, and the room cleaning could be better.
