The bed was so comfortable, with four pillows! If you’ve traveled around Asia for a while, you’ll know what a rare treat that is. My room had a balcony, and I loved the extra touches. The price was so reasonable, I still can’t quite believe it. Purple Hue is very central, with lots of great restaurants and Grabs nearby. The owners are lovely, hardworking people, and I was lucky to get to know them. They took time to share plenty of tips on where to go and eat. I also enjoyed finding local Vietnamese craft beer in Hue after spending time in Saigon/HCMC and getting familiar with its craft beer scene. The ground floor of this BnB is a "hipster" coffee shop that serves craft beer, but it doesn’t feel like a party place. It closes early and caters to travelers who appreciate good coffee and craft beer. I loved my stay at Purple Hue. The location is fantastic, and the place felt clean and safe. Book in, and you’ll be happy you did!

Dan and I had a great stay, though we only had one day in Hue and wished we could’ve spent longer. Thin and Binh are fantastic owners, and the rest of the staff are welcoming and fun. Binh shared lots of food addresses with us, and we enjoyed wandering around and trying the local delicacies. Breakfast was free and really tasty, and they’ve got craft beers too if that’s your thing. The location’s convenient, about a 20minutes walk to the Citadel. I’d definitely recommend this place.

After checkout, we left our bags there while we went around the city. When we came back to collect them, they let us use the bathroom to shower and rest. The room was clean and comfortable, and the hotel's central spot put us close to the nightlife. Really welcoming service, highly recommend it.

The family running the place were lovely, and breakfast was noodle and vegetable soup with Black/Saigon coffee, which you can have with condensed milk. We found the rooms clean, with very soft pillows and decent lighting for reading or watching TV in bed. Wi-Fi was super fast at 50/50 Mbps up/down. There's also a cinema and bowling next door 😜🎳™️

We only stayed one night, and the staff were so helpful from the start. They gave us lots of ideas for making the most of our day and night, and brought us water and fruit while explaining everything. The breakfast was delicious, egg with bread and fresh fruit. When there was a water problem in our room, they texted us on WhatsApp to ask if we were okay moving to another one. The new room was beside the kitchen, though, so around 7am we could hear people talking and making noise, and a lot of light came into the room. Still, a great B&B in a good location.
