Sala Homestay Hue

I spent a whole week here and had a really good time. The staff were doing a great job, always happy to help or just have a nice chat, and they even taught me a little Vietnamese. The room was clean, the beds comfortable, and there was a hot shower and laundry service. It’s right in the middle of town, so everything you need is only a few minutes away. Thanks for the good stay! ♡

The staff were incredibly kind. They helped me book buses out of the city and even walked me down the street to make sure I got on the bus, since I was the only non-local. The rooms were comfortable, prices were good, and the location had everything a backpacker might need either at the hostel or nearby. A fantastic stay.

For the price, I don’t have many complaints, and the location and staff were great. The bathroom in our private room was the main issue: shower water went everywhere around the toilet and sink, pooled in a corner, and drained slowly. There was even a sign asking people not to wet the floor, which was funny. The cupboard under the sink was a bit moldy, unsurprisingly. We also got a few bugs through the decent-sized gaps around the balcony doors, but not many with the curtains closed.

We had a great time at shark home stay. The ladies working there were all amazing and spoke really good English. They arranged easyriders for us to go to Hoi A with Can, and it was well organised and good value.
