Stay Hue Hotel

Since it’s a two-star hotel, the rooms come with just the basics. Getting up and down the staircase is a squeeze too, it’s very narrow.

We were left scared and disappointed after staying in room 507. There were ants in the bed and all over the bathroom, and they came back in even greater numbers after disinfection. The room also had cockroaches. Yellow-stained sheets, moldy walls and decorative pictures, and a foul smell from the refrigerator made things worse. There was barely any soap, and what was in the dispenser was mostly water. The wardrobe was dirty, the floor under the bed looked as if it hadn’t been cleaned, the hallway carpet was torn, and there weren’t any blankets. There were also too few electrical outlets, and they were hard to plug into. We asked to move to a better room, but reception wouldn’t let us. I couldn’t upload a video here, only photos.

Room 507 was filthy: ants were all over the bed and bathroom, and kept returning in even greater numbers after it was disinfected. There were cockroaches too. The bedsheet was yellow, and both the wall and decorative pictures had mold. The soap dispenser had very little soap and was mostly filled with water. The carpet in the hallway was torn, the bed area looked like nobody had cleaned it, the fridge smelled, and the wardrobe was dirty. No blankets had been left in the room. There were only a few outlets, and they were difficult to use.

The latch on the room door is broken and needs fixing.
