Tam Homestay

We came during early check-in and Mr. Chuong and his family still welcomed us with tea and ginger chips in their well-decorated reception room. They carried our luggage up to the third floor, and the room was much better than the picture. All week, the host took care of room cleaning and replaced towels, water, and coffee, and also brought us fruit. Breakfast was delicious every day. I was especially touched by how kind and smiley the family members were. The homestay is on Night Walking Street, close to the amenities. It’s a five-minute walk to the riverside and 25 minutes to the Hue Palace, which is perfect for a walk. I've spent my second winter in the central part of the country, and this is the best hotel in all. If I come back, I'll definitely make a reservation for the "TAM" first.

We were welcomed with open arms, tea, and a warm family atmosphere. The rooms looked exactly like the pictures, the breakfast was excellent, and we slept wonderfully. The shower had great water pressure and plenty of hot water. There are plenty of good restaurants and cafes nearby, and the market and the Imperial City are a short walk or drive away. We also rented a great scooter straight from the owners and used it to explore the city. Hue is an amazing city, and this family hosted us like we were one of their own. There's no doubt we'll stay here again on our next visit. If you're looking for somewhere in Hue, this is the homestay for you.

I arrived during a severe flood, when the whole town had a power outage. Even then, the host prepared warm food, tea, and fruit for all the guests. I felt safe and well looked after during such an unusual and challenging time. What touched me most was that the host personally helped me get to the bus station for Da Nang in heavy rain. I couldn't be more grateful. 🙏 Tam Homestay is the most hospitable place I've stayed at in Vietnam, and I truly recommend it to anyone visiting Hue. The hand soap they provided smelled lovely, too. You can feel the care they put into the little details. I hope I get the chance to return and stay with them again. 🌿✨

The best part was how helpful Chuong was. He gave me local food and activity tips, arranged a dragon boat ride and my onward car to Danang, and even let me arrive early after the overnight train. There was tea and bananas at both check-in and checkout, too. My room was spacious and nicely decorated, with a patio and a lovely city view. It’s right in central Hue, comfortable and beautiful. I can’t imagine staying anywhere else when I come back.
