Tung's was a lovely base for exploring Hue, and I hope to stay again if I return. The people in Hue are very nice. My room on the first floor was spacious and spotless, with a private bathroom, mini fridge, balcony, little table, and two chairs. The bed was comfortable and I slept well. The railway station and Big C Supermarket are walkable, and several popular vegan restaurants are within 2-3 km. Near Tung's place, there’s a stall selling inexpensive vegan Banh Mi Vietnamese sandwiches in the morning. Thich Nhat Hanh's root temple Tu Hieu is nearby too. A Grab bike ride there cost 19K VND, and getting to Thien Mu Pagoda cost 28K. There are a couple of good vegan restaurants near the pagoda.

There’s a veggie bahn mi stand just a couple of minutes away, handy for a tasty vegan breakfast. The homestay is comfortable, with a roomy space, a great bed and pillows, friendly owners, and a good location. It’s about 10 minutes from the train station and 15 minutes from the city centre. An ideal place to stay in Hue.

The bed and shower were fantastic, and the place is peaceful. It’s near the train station, though Walking Street is a 20-minute walk away. This really is staying with a family, not just a homestay. They have two children, and they’re incredibly lovely.

The room was spacious and the family very friendly. The bathroom was decent, and there was a PC and TV. The windows weren’t insulated well, unfortunately, so street noise and a party came through very loudly.
