The staff are friendly and welcoming, and being right in the center of Hue makes getting around convenient for tourists. But the hotel is run-down and the facilities feel old. The bathroom door sticks and makes a really loud sound when opened or closed. Neither the bedroom nor bathroom curtains cover things properly, which is inconvenient. The air freshener smells cheap and unpleasant. Consider this before booking so your trip doesn't start off in a bad mood.

I paid 1.5 million VND for a room, and the bathroom had mold with little animals running around. They let me switch rooms, but one balcony door was always open and the AC didn't work. It was so hot inside that I couldn't sleep. The receptionist doesn't speak a word of English.
