CostaBella Resort Nha Trang

The resort has beautiful grounds with lots of greenery and a lovely sea, but the day pass was frustrating. We paid 200 000 vnd, which included beach access, a towel, and a drink, yet couldn't find sunbeds after buying tickets. Nobody seemed to control how many people were on the beach, as if the hotel were just making money without considering guests' comfort. The beach bar was awful, with three different menus and no clear indication which one to use. My gin fizz was made with vodka instead of gin, and the barman refused to fix it.

The resort feels remote, with nowhere to stroll or pop over to nearby, and the shuttle into central Nha Trang might not fit your schedule. The beach area is livelier and about 1 km away, with a buggy to get there. The property itself is huge, with modern rooms, a lovely pool and a large breakfast space with plenty to choose from, including an egg station. You can also see the GM's office and speak with him directly. Service at the front desk needs work. The staff kept looking at their computers while I stood there, and I had to wave right in front of them to get noticed. They also didn't bring our bags up to our room on the second floor. We managed, but it left a poor impression for a resort of this quality. I hope management responds.

The resort is quite far from town, but the views made the trip worthwhile for me. The staff were friendly and the food was delicious. I wasn't especially happy with the price, though I still had a good stay.
