Our room was clean, and the location was handy, with shops and restaurants just a short walk away. It had no window, despite the hotel name. When we asked about the rate, they lowered it after we said we’d book online instead. It would make more sense to offer the lower price in person, since that also saves them the websites’ extra fees. Still, it’s a nice, clean, convenient place.

I was moved from a single to a double room and told not to use the extra bed so I wouldn’t be charged. That felt awkward, and they should’ve asked politely instead of making it a demand. The small window also lets in light early in the morning, which made it hard to sleep.

The room was clean, the location was good, and the staff were really nice. I’m somewhere between four and five stars, though, because the stay had a few hassles. I booked directly at the last minute and only discovered on arrival that my room had no window. The Agoda photos showed windows, but I hadn’t booked through them. I slept OK over three nights, though other guests were noisy: alarms kept going off, and people were very loud in the hallways for 20-30 minutes at a time. That wasn’t really the hotel’s fault, but it affected my stay. After four days without knowing whether it was sunny, raining, hot, or cool outside, I asked again to move to a room with a window. Someone said I could move to 131 the next day, but I later learned 131 was an address, not a room number. I took a cab to Window 2 hotel, but its “window room” just had a wooden door or shutters that opened, with no glass. That didn’t seem like a good choice in the rain or with the AC on. I ended up moving to another hotel nearby. It had a big window overlooking the street, so there was traffic noise, but I slept much better and longer. I was glad I moved. The new place also had a fridge and cost 50k more.

We stayed for almost two weeks, my Vietnamese wife and I, and were very satisfied. Our fourth-floor balcony room was clean and comfortable. When we asked for an extra table and chairs, a fan, and a hair dryer, everything arrived right away with no fuss. The two boys at reception were cheerful and helpful, and the staff did their best to limit disruption from some foyer construction work, possibly for a bar. We also rented two decent mountain bikes for a very reasonable price.

At about 350k a night for a double, the room is good value. The hotel has hot water, Wi-Fi, and an elevator, plus parking for cars and motorbikes. It’s close to Kon Tum market, with plenty of shops, cafes, and restaurants around. The staff are friendly.
