The owner clearly knows their way around tech, and it made working from the room easy. The Wi-Fi handled everything I needed from bed, and linking the smart TV to my YouTube app was simple. Even the stair lights came on when someone walked by. My room felt cozy and was well lit, with a spotless, ventilated bathroom. The door lock was another story. The handle squeaked and took patience and two or three tries to lock. After I mentioned it, the manager called a technician and kept an eye on my belongings. The staff also helped me buy crabs and cooked them for me, which was great service. The beach is only a few steps away, though the waves were rough enough that I stayed out of the water. I picked the hotel partly because its name was easy for me to say, since Vietnamese can be hard for me. I took a two-day trip to binh Thuan while working from home and usually take other people's reviews with a grain of salt, preferring to risk an experience that might go either way. It took a few days after the trip before I could settle down and write this. I'd come back, next time with my girlfriend or family.

They treated us like family, and I really liked the Taro Milk Tea. You can ask the owner or staff to order it. The owner also took us around lagi market and handled the cooking, and you can ask him anything about the area. The coffee and simple breakfast with eggs were extremely good. Our room was cozy, airy, and clean, and the toilet was good too. There are automatic lights, and the Wi-Fi password is the owner's phone number. The beach is just a few steps away, and coming back late is fine. I got in around 1 a.m.

I planned to stay one night, but the comfort here convinced me to add another. The hotel is only two years old and spotless, with a comfortable bed, air conditioning plus a wall fan, an in-room fridge, and a lovely bathroom with hot water and strong pressure. The beach is a five-minute walk, past an amazing seafood market where fresh food is right at your doorstep. The owner even called a local fisherman to help me choose seafood for dinner. I travel a lot as a New Yorker and have high standards, and he and the staff at Happy View exceeded them.
