The breakfast was a real highlight, with plenty to choose from, fresh fruit, desserts, and excellent Vietnamese Robusta coffee. The staff were so warm and friendly, even though their English was limited. My room was clean and nicely furnished with some interesting pieces. The small window was stuck open, though, and morning noise came through. I also felt a little awkward when the children kept helping themselves to the desserts. They might not look like much, but the taste and texture were a pleasant surprise. I’d give the hotel four stars, mainly because of that window.

The receptionist made the stay feel unwelcoming from start to finish. Even after approving a late check-out, they locked us out of the room at check-out time. We were also charged extra for our child, despite the Agoda booking saying otherwise. In the room, the carpet had several clumps of hair and was dirty, and there were no outlets by the bed, so I had to charge my phone across the room.
