Areca Hotel Nha Trang

Customer service was very good. It's a good-value hotel in a quiet area, near local food and not too far from the tourist sights. I'd recommend it.

The staff's warm nature and attitude really stood out. I loved staying here, and after just a few days we added another week. We had a large panoramic suite on a high floor and spent lots of time relaxing there. The neighbourhood felt very local, which made for a lovely atmosphere. There was great local food, the beach promenade was a short walk away, and Dan Market was close by. I'll definitely come back next time I'm in Nha Trang.

The rooftop pool was lovely, with a beautiful view over the city. Rooms were spacious and comfortable, with basic furnishings, as you'd expect from a four-star restaurant. Breakfast had a wide selection, but the quality was poor, and the breakfast area felt more like a two-star place, with no decoration.

It was a bad experience on this trip. At checkout, there was no reserved parking for the bus. One boy was left to help 15 people, so we ended up carrying our own bags some distance. When our tour group arrived, there was no staff member to help, and we carried all the bags ourselves. The lobby had no air conditioning. Our room was hot like a sauna at check-in, and for a four-star hotel I expected a better environment. The bathroom drains seemed to have problems, and two rooms looked as if housekeeping hadn't been done. At breakfast around 8, the food didn't seem to be replenished, and some guests didn't get enough to eat. There also weren't enough cups, spoons, or forks. Check-in was 5/6/25, and check-out was 7/6/25.
