We stayed there for a month last year, on the 3rd floor, and felt safe with the owner and her niece, who works there. They're kind, looked after us, helped us roll our bikes, put away our helmets when we forgot them, and checked that everything was okay. They really care about their tourists, which matters to us. We even forgot a child's toilet seat and the kids were so upset! The room, or really the whole floor, was quite clean and had plenty of beds, as is customary in Vietnam. There was air conditioning and a fan. Sometimes there was no hot water, but in the heat it wasn't a big deal. The windows have bars, and there's a large dining area, a refrigerator, and a spacious kitchen. You can do laundry on the top floor. There's a Russian cafe and a kindergarten nearby, and the area is quiet. I liked it!

The hostess speaks fairly good English and can understand and help with a LITTLE bit of sign language too. The price is reasonable, and the clean room has air conditioning and all the appliances needed if you want to cook. There are a few very small ants, but they weren't a problem.
