Celina Bayfront Nha Trang Apartments

I rented the apartment for two nights to see what it was like before deciding whether to stay a month. I checked in at 12:00 PM on the 45th floor. The elevators can be a hassle, but you can wait if you’re not in a hurry. The furniture, cleanliness, mattress, towels, and dishes are all average, a C. The bedroom view gets an A-, but a view isn’t a big deal to me, especially for a month. What does it matter if you won’t look at it often? The traffic noise is loud even up on the 45th floor. Right now I can hear karaoke, a guy singing “In a Field with a Horse” and then “I'm Free.” You can hear EVERYTHING! I’ll see how it is in the morning. My lease on an apartment 3 km from the sea is ending, and I’m not sure whether it makes sense to move. Here, cleaning is once a week, while it’s daily there. There’s no bottled water here either, but there is every day at my current place. They also can’t explain whether there’s a pool or a gym. For some people, the sea is just across the street, but I can drive there if I need to. The shower is another matter. It’s dirty and ugly, with everything broken, loose, leaking, and slowly falling apart. Parking costs money. I don’t mind paying 30 rubles, but this is the first time I’ve come across paid parking in the 5-6 hotels or apartments I’ve stayed in around Nha Trang. There are three air conditioners that work well and a big TV, which are pluses. But YouTube froze after about 15 minutes when I tried to watch it. Prices around here are tourist prices, about 30-50% more. A Tiger in the outlying district is 16 dong, but here it’s 25. Orange juice is 20 there and 40 here. Pho bo is 50 there and 65 here. It might seem like small amounts, but over a month the difference will add up. I’m not ready to rent for a month. I’d rather ride a motorbike than overpay for something I don’t know.

Everyone was kind, and the room was in good condition. Since it’s close to the beach, it was perfect to swim there and then use the accommodation’s pool. The bellboy Ryan was friendly.

The place was clean and nice. The facilities were tidy, and breakfast was satisfying. Staff member Ryan was especially kind, and it was even better that he spoke Korean well.
