For one night, this is a good budget option in a great spot, close to everything nearby. It may be the cheapest four star hotel around with a rooftop pool. I paid for an upgrade hoping for a sea view and balcony, but only got the sea view. The big bed was two singles pushed together, and the pool is small, though fine for a quick dip. Check-in was quick, but early check-in at noon instead of 2 pm cost an extra $2. No big deal, just don't expect more.

The staff were kind and went out of their way to help make my husband's birthday special. The hotel itself was a real letdown, though. After we paid to upgrade, our room still had rubbish from the previous guest in the bins, and the TV didn't work. We only wanted to watch the news, and staff said they already knew it was broken. I don't know what the upgrade got us. The rooms weren't clean, and the elevators were filthy, with used cotton buds on the floor. Everything felt worn out and uncared for. The pool was green, and its furniture was broken and dirty. We moved around the corner for the same price and had a completely different experience there, with breakfast included. The service was great, but I wouldn't stay here again.

I booked a king room expecting a double bed, but they only pushed two small beds together. They slide apart easily, leaving a big gap in the middle. They misrepresented what the room had, and I expected much better.

The street bars were so loud I couldn't sleep. Management wouldn't refund me or even let me move to a room on the other side of the building. The service was horrible, and I was charged three times the normal room rate. I wouldn't recommend staying here.

The location is good and the rooms are clean, but there are better options in this price range.
