Green Peace is in a good spot, and my Delux room was clean. Wei was lovely, but one checkout interaction left me unable to recommend the place. The front desk woman handling my checkout, who wasn't Wei, insisted I pay even after I showed her my Agoda confirmation that I'd already paid. She argued on the phone for a long time, and I was stuck waiting. I've traveled all over Asia, and this was the worst customer service I've had at a hotel in Vietnam. I wanted to give Green Peace a great review, but after being treated that way, I can't. I'm a travel writer and review the places I stay, so Green Peace will be getting a bad one from me.

We got there a little before check-in was allowed, and the manager said we'd have to pay to go in early. We said we could wait in the hotel's living room, but he went to sleep on the only sofa, leaving us nowhere to sit or lie down. It was a really bad experience. The service was poor, and it felt like they were trying to get money out of us. Avoid this hotel and choose somewhere better.

The rooms are really nice, and breakfast is great. If you ask politely, they'll quickly pack it to go. Just don't book bus tickets through them, they use a terrible bus company.

The Wi-Fi kept dropping out, which was the one downside. The room was nice, the staff were super friendly, and the beach is only a short walk away. There are restaurants and shops all around, too.

The double rooms are quite small, and the windows don't close properly in any of the rooms. That lets in a lot of noise during the day. The staff were nice enough to let me switch rooms, but the next one had the same problem.
