Long Chau Hotel

I’ve been living here for three months, so I can share a few practical details. The neighborhood feels calm and civilized, with pleasant families and single residents in both the building and on the street. The hosts are a welcoming family who keep things neat, improve the house, and deal with anything broken as soon as you call. It’s a spacious one-bedroom apartment, with a workspace, a street-facing window, two fans, and air conditioning in the bedroom. There’s a linen closet, washing machine, drying rack and lots of hangers, plus bedside outlets and a TV. The bathroom has a bathtub rather than a shower. In the kitchen there’s a large fridge, microwave, kettle, electric stove, saucepan, dishes and cutlery. The lighting is lovely, and I haven’t seen any ants. The gates are open from 6:00 AM to 11:00 PM. You can still come and go outside those hours, but it’s best to tell the hosts ahead of time. Within a 5-10 minute walk are the beach, market, shops, massage places, local cafes, bars, and coffee shops. The listed rent is 5 sq. m per month, with a 5 sq. m deposit. They provide a receipt, and QR payment is available. Electricity is 5,000 kopecks per kW, and water is 100,000 kopecks per person. On the first floor, a 19-liter Vikoda water bottle costs 50,000 kopecks.

The staff were honest and friendly, and you can rent a motorbike right at the hotel, which makes getting around convenient and inexpensive. For Nha Trang, the rate seems affordable and the place is quite okay by local standards. We paid around 500k a night for two adults and one child, and it worked well for a family holiday.

A decent budget option if you want to travel but don't have much money to spend.
